World-famous beaches like Luskentyre and Scarista are just a short drive away, and Stornoway—with its airport and ferry terminal—is around 50 minutes by car. Public buses also stop nearby.
How to get to Harris
By Air: The quickest way to reach Harris is by flying into Stornoway Airport, which offers regular flights from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Inverness via Loganair. Car hire is available directly from the airport.
By Ferry: You can also reach Harris by ferry with Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac):
From Ullapool to Stornoway (Lewis)
From Uig (Isle of Skye) to Tarbert (Harris)
From Lochmaddy (North Uist), drive to Berneray and take a second ferry to Leverburgh (Harris)
All ferries accommodate both foot passengers and vehicles.
